After they leave the crime scene, they find they are being pursued by a police constable who wants to arrest them. Soon, however, they find themselves in a bind. They are forced to take refuge in the empty house of a man named Srikant, who is in the middle of a divorce. The crooks begin breaking into his house every day to check on his whereabouts, and, in the process, form a friendship with his ex-wife who lives there alone.
